Comedy Stars are coming to Southport by the sea to brighten up our nights this autumn with the 13th annual Southport Comedy Festival!
The Southport Comedy Festival in association with Halliwell Jones MINI is back for its 13th year and promises to be bigger and better!
From the 27th September to 13th October stars from the world of comedy will descend on the lovely seaside town of Southport for 17 days of laughter.
The stellar lineup at this year’s festival includes the undisputed godfather of modern stand-Up Ben Elton, TV superstar Jason Manford, Persian Comedy Powerhouse Omid Djalili, German Comedy Ambassador Henning Wehn, Festival favourites Jason Byrne, Jimeoin, Godfather of Political Comedy Mark Thomas and Star of ITV’S The Chase Paul Sinha ‘The Sinnerman’, comedy stars of TV Jo Caulfield ,Hal Cruttenden, Ria Lina,Patrick Monahan,Comedy Circuit favourites The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Review, Rising local star Katie Tracey, host of smash hit podcast ‘Have a Word’, Dan Nightingale and Comedy Legend Mick Miller.
The festival will also be supporting new talent with the return of the annual Southport New Comedian of the Year competition sponsored by Dragon Soop. There will also be Comedy Bingo and a back to the 80’s Disco Bingo night raising funds for local charities.
It all takes place under canvas in a heated and seated luxury marquee courtesy of Elite Marquees in the beautiful grounds of the Victoria Park, home of the world-renowned Southport Flower Show.
