Ocean Plaza is proud to sponsor the Southport Comedy Festival once again, continuing its support of the event year after year and helping bring another packed programme if comedy to Southport.

There’s plenty to laugh about this October as the Southport Comedy Festival returns to Victoria Park for its 15th year.

Running from 2nd – 18th October, the festival will bring 17 days of comedy and entertainment to Southport, with shows taking place under canvas in a heated and seated marquee.

This year’s line-up features some familiar names, including Jason Manford, Paul Sinha, Henning Wehen, Gary Delaney, Paul Merton and Suki Webster, Adam Kay, Mike Wozniak, Laura Smyth and Seann Walsh.

There’s plenty more across the programme too, with the return of the Southport New Comedian of the Year Competition, giving up-and-coming comedians the chance to take to the stage.

Festival favourites are also back, including the Best of the Fest Comedy Night and Comedy Bingo Goes Back to the 90s, bringing together stand-up, music and plenty of nostalgia.

This year, the festival will also be supporting local charity Bebe’s Hive, with a prize raffle taking place during Comedy Bingo and donation buckets available throughout the event.
