We’re delighted to be sponsoring the West Lancashire Yacht Club 24 Hour Yacht Race for the second year in a row. 

Returning to Southport Marine Lake on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026, the Yacht Race will bring together sailing teams from clubs and associations across the UK for 24 hours of competition, teamwork and endurance. 

While it is always an exciting weekend in Southport’s calendar, our support is about much more than the action on the water. Our sponsorship goes directly towards the club’s Junior Development Fund, helping to support young sailors in the local area. 

The fund introduces local school children to sailing, giving them the opportunity to get out on the Marine Lake, learn new skills and grow in confidence. It also helps make the sport more accessible to young people, regardless of their background or previous experience. 

We’re proud to support an initiative that creates new opportunities for local children and encourages the next generation of Southport sailors. 

The Yacht Race is a brilliant event for experienced sailing fans and anyone who simply fancies heading down to the lake to enjoy the atmosphere and watch the teams in action. 

We’re looking forward to another fantastic weekend and continuing our support for an event that brings the community together while making a lasting difference to young people in Southport.
